A SALES MANAGER M/F

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for our new Sales Manager for our office based in Colombo.

He/She will be responsible for leading and managing the team, achieving sales targets and ensuring a high level of service provided to our travelers.
His/ Her role is also analytical and strategic in terms of sales forecast and analysis. He builds a sales plan, analyzes data, dispenses sales training and assigns sales enquiries. He mentors the members of his/her sales team and is involved in the hiring process.

We are looking for a highly motivated sales person able to understand the big picture and lead our ambitious plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Manage a team of 10 sales experts, Sri Lanka, French, German & Spanish speaking.
- Dispatch enquiries & monitor the team workload
- Ensure the training of the travel experts & the existing team about destination and sales technique
- Ensuring and maintaining a high level of quality in the work provided by the team members
- Monitor & Achieve monthly & weekly sales target
- To evaluate performance based on budget, targets & achievements.
- Analysis of reports and KPIs and ensure all reports are completed correctly and on time
- Team recruitment
- handling customer complaints and problem solving when escalated
- Monthly One on Ones with each sales members and with the GM
- Cooperating with other sales manager in order to harmonize the work quality between different offices

REPORTING TO :

- General Manager in Colombo
- Close collaboration with operation & finance managers & Marketing team in Bali.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- 3 years’ experience of leading sales
- Fluent knowledge of French and English (written and oral).
- Knowledge of other foreign languages (especially Spanish) is an asset
- Good knowledge of computers and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Experience in the tourism industry would be an asset


SKILLS :

- proven sales and marketing abilities
- Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills
- Leader with a positive and dynamic personality, able to adapt to different cultures
- Ability to make things done
- Motivator
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary in both French and English
- Sense of relationships (with the team, hierarchy, clients)
- Understanding customer needs and high customer service standards.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines, especially during peak season.
- Be a smart-worker not hard worker
- Positive thinker who can quickly pinpoint problems and come up with solutions

SALARY :

Remuneration Dependent on skills and experience / or 1 200 US dollars
Commissions based on performance
