CONNECT : "Looking into the future challenges of aviation and tourism"

International Aviation Forum in Marocco

CONNECT is THE International Aviation Forum, a focused platform for aviation decision makers to meet, discuss, and shape their future networks across Europe and beyond. Now in its 11th year, CONNECT 2014 will take place from the 3rd - 6th June in Marrakech, Morocco, hosted by the Moroccan Airports Authority (25 airports).

Rédigé par le Lundi 24 Mars 2014

Over 300 participants have already confirmed their attendance. In total 150 airports and 50 airlines are expected to attend, with over 400 high-level decision makers from the airline, airport, tour operator, service and supply industries, as well as local, regional and national government sectors.

Key conference features include two head to head sessions with József Váradi, Wizz!, and Michael Cawley, Ryanair, who will share a personal insight on today's key aviation challenges.

Also of note are round-table explorations into the large market and network potential in Central, Northern and Eastern Europe with a panel of airline and airport executives, and a pan-continental focus on destination marketing, with speakers from Los Angeles, Nice and Amsterdam airports.

Following on last year's success, the airline and industry briefing programme has been expanded.

In the intimate briefings lounge, delegates will receive an exclusive insight into company strategies and objectives from top industry professionals, allowing them to interact with their questions and feedback.

Companies this year include Flybe, Ryanair, and easyJet, with talks on topics including how to maximize profit on the airport commercial model, destination marketing success stories to learn from and the optimum aviation media toolkit.
