Every year, International Women's Day is celebrated in numerous countries around the world. Air France is organizing different events to celebrate this special day.

On 7 March, the Company is forming the biggest-ever all-female crew, with one pilot, two co-pilots, one chief purser, two pursers and eighteen stewardesses welcoming passengers on board flight AF990 to Johannesburg operated by the Airbus A380.

Flights made up of all-female crews operate at various other times of the year, but the March 8 female crew has become an established tradition at Air France. Whether they are flying to Beijing, Tokyo, Mexico or today to Johannesburg, these all-female flights are always a popular event for both crew and passengers.

On 8 March, on the Marseille-Moscow rotation, Air France "80th anniversary" passports will be offered to the female passengers on board, and on the return flight to Marseille, a prize draw will be organized with the chance to win an introductory flight over Provence, with the Air France Provence flying club.

This year, Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo has also contributed to International Women's Day by carrying on the tradition of offering flowers to women.

From 18 to 27 February, 560 tons of flowers originating from the Andes, Quito and Bogota were transported to different European countries with a high demand for flowers on International Women's Day.
