Midi Tours, an incoming agency based in Avignon and specialized in organizing stays for foreign clients in France, is pursuing its conquest of emerging markets.

After having strongly developed in Russia - Marina Furnon, founder of the agency is from Russia - Midi Tours is opening up to the Brazilian market.

To do so, it recruited Rui Miguel Costa a few months ago, as the manager for Brazil and South America.

Today, the agency, created in 2008, signed a new contract with a leading TO in Brazil. Furthermore, it has reinforced its presence on the South American continent by participating in various tourism trade-fairs in Brazil and Argentina.

The agency is also setting its sights on Asia, with Singapore particularly.

To this day, the Russian market accounts for between 60 and 70% of the tour-operator’s revenues that have increased in 2013 to close to €800,000. The Brazilian and South-American markets account for this difference.

“Customized” stays for individuals or groups

Midi Tours takes on the Brazilian market
The agency offers “customized” stays for individuals or groups around cultural heritage, food and wine, nature and discovery.

It focuses equally on a leisure clientele and companies for the organization of seminaries, incentives, or team-building.

Since 3 years, Midi Tours also offers excursions and tours especially for Brazil: "Paris - Provence - Riviera", "Grand tour de France", “Around the Mediterranean: from Barcelona to Rome", etc.

Another novelty: it will start to offer language immersion stays. Some of the top sales include wine tours with tastings, and the “lavender” tour in season.
