Alsace: new Adonis hotel opens in Strasbourg

Decoration that fuses modern and classic styles

The Adonis Strasbourg is a former private hotel that was recently entirely renovated and acquired by the group Adonis. In this way, the brand develops its 13th facility in France and opens its first hotel in Alsace.

Everything is in immediate proximity to the pedestrian center and its cathedral, along with easy tramway access to the Exhibition Center, the Congress Center, or the European Parlement in less than 10 minutes.

“The decoration fuses modern and classic styles, with, for instance, an ancient stained-glass window enhanced through specific lighting, that was created by the Ott Brothers in 1948, explains Elodie Perraud, Communications Managers at Adonis.

The entrance leads you to the rooms, of which some include a private garden built with Alsace pink sandstone and cut stone.

The glass and iron staircase will take you to the last floor where you’ll find charming attic bedrooms, a perfect invitation to unwind. At the heart of Strasbourg, there is what we like to call a soul, warmth.

Other benefits include: a wonderful view on the Contades Park, and a terrace garden that is ideal for eating breakfast on sunny days.”

Getting to Strasbourg?

From the West and North, the highways A4, A34, A31 and A32 enable to reach Strasbourg from Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg and Bonn via Metz and Sarrebruck. From the south, the Strasbourg-Mulhouse axis, prolonged by the A36 joins the highway A6 of Beaune that opens the roads toward Italy and Spain.

Strasbourg, one of France’s largest train station, is linked by direct lines to many cities of France. But Strasbourg is also located at the crossroads of many international axes and enjoys high-quality service with many European cities. From Paris, expect 2h20 of travel until Strasbourg (departure from Gare de l’Est.)

The international airport of Strasbourg-Entzheim is located 10 km from Strasbourg city center through the highway. The major German cities of the catchment area, such as Offenburg, Lahr, Baden-Baden and Karlsruhe, are located between 45 min and 1h30 through the highway.
