Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes “asserts itself as France’s first tourism destination"

In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, nearly 75% of the region’s tourism professionals declare being satisfied with the summer 2016 season, according to a study by the Tourism Regional Committee (CRT) conducted among nearly 800 professionals from August 17-22, 2016.

A result that Laurent Wauquiez, President of the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, rejoices over:

“As France's primary region during the first 6 months and France's primary region during the summer season, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is the country’s most resilient region that, today, asserts itself as France’s number one tourism region.”
