Dolce Chantilly (Picardie): a hotel for conferences at the heart of nature

At the heart of the Chantilly forrest, the hotel Dolce Chantilly, from the group Hotels & Resorts, enjoys an ideal geographical location only 45 minutes from Paris and 25 minutes from the Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport. While it targets individual travelers, this 4 star hotel with contemporary architecture is specifically adapted to hosting business conferences. Icing on the cake, the institution recently took in a new Chef who offers a gourmet menu in one of the hotel’s three restaurants.

Inside infrastructures that unite comfort with technology, company conferences are organized to the nearest millimeter since the hotel thought of everything, or almost.

“We offer a type of small convention center since we provide the companies with 23 meeting rooms, a conference center of 2 000m² with high-tech equipment, and trained personnel to regulate the conferences and manage the organization of the events.

But other than the many rooms, our main concern was guaranteeing the wellbeing of the employees so we centralized everything to make sure that they do not get lost in the hallways between meetings, explains Clotilde Gay, Director of Groups and Seminars Sales, another advantage: drinks and snacks are available non-stop in the hall near the meeting rooms, allowing employees to take a break at any time to relieve the first signs of fatigue.”

Diverse team activities

"A company is first and foremost driven by a team.

Its strength lies in stimulating the cohesion and harmony of this group. Dolce also focuses strongly on this aspect, which is why the hotel offers a wide range of group activities aimed at developing synergies inside companies during seminars,”
highlights Clotilde Gay.

Dolce Chantilly provides initiation to polo in the biggest Polo Club of France, a 2CV rally, a treasure hunt in the Chantilly Castle, and water-related races with sporting regattas for the warm days, without forgetting golfing, since the hotel houses an 18 hole golf course.

Rooms adapted for stays and conferences

The hotel offers 200 rooms and suites with a modern and functional style, all equipped with wifi.

While the equestrian decoration (of which Chantilly is a major destination) may leave one indifferent, or even irritate, it is especially the lack of warmth and intimacy of the rooms that can bother people looking for an exotic experience.

However, it is ideal for sharing a twin room with a work colleague since the impersonal aspect will not be an issue.

More of the hotel’s amenities include: fitness room, hammam and sauna, 2 pools including an outdoor one surrounded by a beautiful terrace, bar, and three restaurants including the Donatello that offers a gourmet menu.

Honoring gourmet cuisine

The real added advantage of the hotel is its new Chef, David Archinard, who, thanks to his immense creativity, enables to sometimes forget the restaurant’s mediocre service.

“First and foremost, my cuisine is an association of flavors aimed at enhancing the aliments in relation to one another - explains David Archinard - it is all about pushing forward a traditional dish by making it lighter, more modern, and especially by adapting it to current cuisine.

At the Donatello restaurant, I offer a bistro chic menu highlighting natural flavors and allowing the ingredients to express themselves with force and subtlety for a return to the basics, always with fresh produce of the season.”

Personally, we loved the Chantilly dessert (THE local speciality) and its horseshoe shaped cookie, an unexpected nod to the equestrian theme.
