We currently have an opportunity for
an experienced, seasoned executive
as Regional General Manager France H/F
based in our Lyon office
This position will be responsible for overall profit and loss in the region as well as achievement of quality/excellence goals.
This individual will drive quality through the implementation of product and brand differentiation strategies and guidelines and will be responsible for buying/negotiating with vendors to satisfy inventory requirements and accomplish cost of goods goals as per regional growth plan.
The Regional General Manager will also be responsible for driving performance standards for office staff and tour leaders and will serve as a role model for corporate values.
Position requirements :
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing the regional offices of an international tour & travel company. Experience with North American travelers highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with hotels, coach companies, restaurants, and other vendors in the travel/tourism business
- Strong product background and knowledge of France
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Lotus Notes
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
