FRENCH AND ENGLISH SPEAKING TRAVEL CONSULTANTS
About the role
Do you tell the difference between Angkor Wat and Borobudur? Do you enjoy talking about your own travel and using your experience to help other people plan trips? Do you have a passion for working in travel?
Based in our office in Brighton UK, we’re offering a fantastic opportunity to join our French-speaking sales team. You’ll be part of the UK’s best independent, round the world travel company.
The role involves creating bespoke, complex round the world flight itineraries for our French clients and building their trip of a lifetime. You may also be arranging accommodation, car or campervan hire or small group tours, with help from our internal product team.
You will be the principal point of contact for your clients but will also be well supported by some talented people behind the scenes. Since there is plenty to learn about round the world flights (even for experienced travel consultants), we provide in-depth, classroom style training on all of our air product and internal procedures.
You must have :
- A proven track record of success within a sales environment
- Fluency in English and either French/German (both spoken and written)
- Experience using a GDS (either Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre)
- Natural rapport-building skills
- Effective time management
- Strong customer service ethic
Desirable experience :
- Personal travel experience in Australia or New Zealand is preferred
- Experience of working within the travel industry
- Travel experience of at least one of Asia, Africa, North America or South America is desirable
