Among the actions contemplated by this agreement it is worth noting the joint marketing activities in a range of foreign markets, the sponsorship of events that aim to promote Spain and the participation of Iberia in the main tourism fairs.

Additionally, the agreement includes familiriarization trips for journalists, travel agents and tour operators, so that they can get to know Spain and become familiarised with its tourism offer.

Those taking part in these trips will have the chance to enjoy the new cabins in Iberia’s long-haul flights.

The agreement highlights the promotion of Spain in the United States and Latin America, markets which are experiencing significant growth in terms of the number of tourists visiting our country, and which have the potential to grow even further.

For Luis Gallego, this agreement “reflects Iberia’s commitment with the promotion of the Spain abroad and with the increase of tourists visiting our country.

For us it is a source of pride to be able to contribute to the dynamism of the most important sector in the Spanish economy”.
