The Handsome Hotel was conceived like a cocoon by the decorators Dorothée Delaye and Daphné Desjeux.
“Everything is in the details, kind of like a bow tie. Despite its small size, it gives the tone, the guideline of an outfit. It cannot be too big or too tight.
The hotel is a chic and timeless bubble in which its charm unfolds subtlety, like a surprise. The Handsome Hotel is a modern boudoir that will enchant women and men alike.
Everything was designed to expand the space while playing with the codes…with careful attention to noble and warm materials: wood, fleece carpet, velvet, wicker brass and caning.
Since the hotel is small (22 rooms) we were inspired by the idea “Small is beautiful.” The concept embraces the notion that something very beautiful and cozy can be done in small spaces,” explain the two decorators.
