COUNTRY MANAGER FOR THAILAND DESTINATION

based in Bangkok.

The candidate has a strong personal leadership combined with a great experience of the Thai culture and the Thailand destination that will allow him/her develop our young team and operations in Thailand at the same level as in our other destinations in South East Asia.
 

Job description :

Job title: Country Manager Thailand - Position is available immediately.
Type of working contract: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Bangkok - Thailand
Compensation: Competitive upon qualification

Job’s duties:

MANAGEMENT:

- Management of Human Resources: recruitment, trainings, motivation and performance.
- Establish and pilot the Strategy in cooperation with the Board of Management.
- Organize the operational duties: office workflow, duties & responsibilities, keep main focus on quality of services & performance
- Representation: internally and externally represent Easia Travel in Thailand

CONTRACTING & COMPETITIVENESS :

- Establish and pilot the purchasing strategy in the destination.
- Competition benchmarking.

SALES DEVELOPMENT:

- Build and manage our new Sales department in Thailand.
- Coordinate the actions with Sales Network on the markets.
- Influence the development of Thailand destination on each market.

PRODUCTION & MARKETING :

- Establish and pilot the Production strategy in the destination with the Production team.
- Establish and pilot the Marketing strategy of Thailand with the Marketing team.
- Develop Easia Travel Thailand’s notoriety
 

Required skills :

- Great knowledge of the Thai culture.
- High expertise of Thailand destination.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- At least, 3 years’ experience as a country manager in a local DMC.
- Strong leadership with management and organization skills
- Pleasant personality, positive attitude and open-minded.
- Good skills in a second language (French, German, Italian or Spanish) is an advantage
- Deep understanding of South East Asia cultures & destinations.
